FORMER TIGER-CAT BRONKO NAGURSKI PASSES AWAY
Hamilton, Ontario – With sadness, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that former player Bronko Nagurski Jr. passed away today at the age of 73 in his hometown of International Falls, Minnesota.
Nagurski spent eight years (1959-66) as an offensive tackle with the Ticats, earning Eastern All-Star honours three times while helping bring two Grey Cups to Hamilton.
“As a player, Bronko was one of the hardest workers in the league and a big part of our Grey Cup championship teams. He was always a pleasure to be around – a great teammate and an even better friend,” said former teammate Angelo Mosca.
